Cortlandt Manor, NY (May 2019) –Craig D. Hametz, MD, FACC, FASE, FASNE a cardiologist atNewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, has been named Medical Director of NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley.
Dr. Hametz will oversee the activities of about 75 group physicians in various locations including Buchanan, Carmel, Cold Spring, Cortlandt Manor, Croton-on-Hudson, Ossining, Peekskill, Pleasantville, Putnam Valley, Sleepy Hollow and Yorktown Heights. As Medical Director, he will be responsible for the delivery of best practices medical care and clinical services in the NYPMG HV such as cost management, utilization review, quality assurance, and medical protocol development.

Dr. Hametz is board certified in Cardiology, Adult Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. He graduated from Cornell University and received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Following that Dr. Hametz completed a fellowship at North Shore University Hospital. He currently resides in Mount Kisco.
