Get ready and brace yourself, everyone, winter is here. According to reports, the forecast calls for temperatures to drop in the low 20s or even the teens sometime today. If accurate this would be the first significant snowfall of the season.
We should start out pretty good with sun and bright skies but will change over to the messy stuff later. North and west of New York City might see up to five inches of snow with the city and surrounding suburbs seeing upwards of three inches.
Alternate street parking will be suspended on Thursday in order to facilitate snow removal operations.
